As the website-title might suspect, this website will inform you about our plans to travel around the world.

After Faithy has received her Master of Arts title, which will be within the next 3 or 4 years or so, both Wolve and Faithy are going to see the world: by Motorbike! Who Wolve and Faithy are, you can read by clicking on the link 'About Us' in the menu left of this.

News

2010/8/17: We're married! Click here for the photos! We had a wonderful day... And now, dreaming again about our trip... considering some BMW R1100GS's to practice with... ;)

2010/6/8: Our wedding-date is finally getting close! Almost everything we needed to arrange has been arranged. No wedding-stress so far! Because our trip is still a few years away, the arrangements for that are going quite slowly. But that doesn't mean we're not excited about it anymore. But you can see it back on our website, on which things are also quite slow. Thay will probably change when it's getting a bit closer.

2009/8/12: 22nd of July 2010, we are getting married!

2009/8/12: After a two week campingtrip all through France, we found out our camping gear is near perfection! We really enjoyed it and want to take the offroads one day to do it again. A trip review will appear soon: it is only in Dutch available now and due to the international character of this website, Dutch is not really a good language to share stories...

2009/5/7: We haven't been very busy with planning, but we have bought some gear already. We bought a multi-fuel burner (Whisperlite) with a fuel-bottle, as well as some other camping-gear: a couple of 5cm self-inflatable mattresses and a couple of mummy-sleepingbags, left and right versions, so they can be zipped together!

2009/3/29: We are getting married next year. 29th of March, Wolve asked me to marry him, and I said 'yes'!

2009/3/22: Yesterday we got ourselves two allroads! The Honda XL600R for Wolve and!! a Yamaha XT600E for Faithy! Pictures of both will follow soon!

2009/2/27: Today we went to the Motorbeurs Utrecht and we had all the time to get to know the Ténéré's before we arrange a test-drive.

2009/2/20: We have found our first all-road bike on the Motor-Forum: A Honda XL600R.
It's not ours yet, because the owner is going to do some last check-ups before we can pick him up! Until we have a second one, it will be survival of the fittest between René and me: who's going to ride it first!?

2009/1/13: We went by our Yamaha dealer to catch a glimpse of the Ténéré, it's really big! But it's still our favourite bike. We talked quite a bit to the people working there, and we're getting more and more exited! They have a demo-model available in a few months, maybe we can make a final decision about the bikes by then!

2009/1/10: We have started investigating some accessories we will be needing when we go on our trip!
