Plans?

There are no concrete plans yet, but since we have about 4 years to discuss, find information and plan, you will be able to follow our ways planning this adventure from the beginning! Isn't that great?

The main plan is as follows: we want to see a lot of the world, but not everything in one time, so Japan, India, the whole of Afrika, New Zealand and probably Alaska will be visited another time.

A 'first-in-mind-route' we've come up with is something like:

• Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Kazachstan, Mongolia, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia
• Shipping of the bikes to Australia, possibly to Darwin. Then drive to Perth and then again shipping of the bikes to Chili.
• We will resume the journey from Chili to Peru, maybe visiting Bolivia too, then Colombia, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, USA, Canada, USA again (New York) and then shipping to Denmark en then, the last bit riding home, Nijmegen, Holland.

We will be traveling for more than a year. It's not just about riding our bikes through all those countries, but we also want to see 'everything'. We want to take the time to get to know the countries we pass through.

There might be some people that read this that think: "NO! You're doing it wrong!!" or "Oh, if you're doing this, or going there, you might do this or go there too!" or "Hm… can you tell me something more about…, because we are planning to go there/do that too!" That's why we want this to be an interactive website. Soon you will be able to log on, give comments, tips and ask us questions. They are all more than welcome, since it is our first time planning such a large event and we want to share our enthusiasm with you!
